NBA 2K22 was the first year they introduced seasonal paths. It had two paths, both free, one for MyTEAM and another for MyCAREER. But in NBA 2K24, they’ve combined the two paths into a single Season Pass that offers exclusive prizes every 6 weeks. With the NBA 2K24 Season Pass, you’re in for a wild ride and the chance to score some amazing stuff throughout the season.
How many levels is the Season Pass divided in?
The NBA 2k24 Season pass is divided in 3 levels:
- the free experience which gives you 40 rewards for both MyCAREER and MyTEAM modes, so a total of 80 prizes for free;
- the Pro Pass that costs $9.99 (€9.21 currently), which gets you 40 additional Premium rewards for each level, plus four bonuses (two for MyCAREER and two for MyTEAM);
- the Hall of Fame Pass that costs $19.99 (€18.43 currently), which includes all the Pro level contents, plus an extra reward at the time of purchase. You’ll also get a 15% XP Boost for the whole season, 10-level skips, and some other goodies that haven’t been announced yet.
If you buy the Pro Pass, you can also upgrade to the Hall of Fame Pass at any point during the season by paying $9.99. Plus, you can purchase level skips for $1.99 each. We’re not sure if the prices will be different for Europe compared to the US.
2K also announced, via their official NBA 2K X account on Twitter, some of the rewards that Pro and Hall of Fame levels can look forward to in Season 1.
For Season 1 of NBA 2K24, you can expect these Premium seasonal rewards:
- 45,000 VC that you can earn throughout the whole season;
- 20,000 MT that you can earn throughout the whole season;
- a Hall of Fame badge “Unlimited Range” for MyTEAM that you can get at the time of purchase;
- a Ruby Giannis Antetokounmpo card for MyTEAM that you can get at the time of purchase;
- some sweet checkerboard-patterned shorts for your MyCAREER player that you can get at the time of purchase;
- an animated armband, “Green Release, Lightning Strike”, for your MyCAREER player that you can get at the time of purchase;
And if you’re a Hall of Fame level purchaser, you’ll get an additional bonus of 15,000 VC when you buy it. The Seasons and the Season Pass will be available on all platforms where NBA2K24 is released.
